Torneria Automatica Faentina was established in 1981 by two partners with years of experience working with automatic lathes at CISA s.p.a., Faenza.

Over the years the company grew steadily and began supplying other businesses in the Faenza and Bologna areas. The company became known for the high standard of professionalism and expertise of the two partners in the production of small metal parts.

As the years passed, its number of employees and machinery grew at the original head office in via degli Olmi.

1998 marked the beginning of the shift towards new technology, as the management, now made up of one of the founding partners and his two sons, purchased several numerical control mobile spindle and fixed head lathes over a couple of years.

In September 2006 Torneria Automatica Faentina moved into its new 1,500 m² premises in via Deruta, Faenza, just 3 minutes from the A14 motorway
